LEXINGTON – The Lexington Girls Soccer team outpaced Holdrege on Thursday, winning 4-2 over the Dusters in the quarterfinals of the Central 10 Conference tournament.
Lexington had goals scored by junior Kathy Orozco scoring twice, while sophomore Citlali Prado and senior Emely Caranza each scored once.
Holdrege scored in each half while Lexington scored all four in the second half. Lexington had 47 shots on goal compared to the Dusters 11.
Lexington now travels to Aurora on Saturday to take on Northwest. Holdrege will be back in action on Tuesday as the Dusters travel to York.
