Cozad softball will have a new leader next year. Head coach Ashley Ford has stepped down from that position after six seasons with the program. She talked with KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen about the move and her time with the Haymakers.
Under Ford the Haymakers went to the state tournament in 2018, 2019, 2021 and they went 18-12 this year and were district runner-up .The Ford family will be moving to Beatrice where her husband James will be the new principal at the elementary school, while Ashley will be resource teacher at the elementary.
