Cozad Community Schools has announced that Brent Dinslage has been named the new head softball coach of the Haymakers. Dinslage is currently teaching middle School english/reading at Cozad middle school. Dinslage has been an assistant coach with the Cozad program the last three years. He also has experience as a legion baseball coach and individual softball and baseball instructor. Dinslage played baseball while attending Midland University.
“I am extremely excited for the opportunity to continue the tradition of Cozad Softball. Being a part of it for the last 3 years, I have seen the support from the school and community. I look forward to working with our current players and youth programs to continue to develop our skills and build Cozad into a team that competes for state championships every year. Dinslage replaces Ashley Ford whose family is moving Beatrice.
