It may be hard to believe, but 5-time Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifier Jacob Talley’s focus hasn’t always been on rodeo. Growing up, Talley was a talented football player and had little interest in being a cowboy. He did not seriously start riding horses until age 20, and is now one of the most competitive steer wrestlers in the world.
His work ethic and commitment to the process has earned him the respect of his peers and a solid shot at a world championship this December.
