Jones excited for change of scenery with the Lopers

Kearney-Veteran quarterback Regan Jones looks to make his final year of college football a good one. This off-season the graduate transfer made the move from Missouri Western to UNK. He talks about spring workouts with the Lopers as he looks to settle in.

Jones is very experienced when it comes to playing in the MIAA. He spent four years at Missouri Western. He was on the MIAA Academic Honor Roll three times and was the Griffons starting QB in 2022. That season he completed 56 percent of his passes for over 1,900 yards and eight touchdowns.

He also rushed for seven scores that year. In his career, he has four 200-yard passing days and three 100-yard rushing days. The native of Wichita was the Kansas 5A player of the year during his senior season and was named 1st team All State. Jones and the Lopers will kickoff the season on August 29th at Chadron State.
