Camden Dickman has been working to construct a “Blessing Box” for those in need of food.  The Eagle Scout project culminated in its dedication during Sunday worship at Grace Lutheran Church in Lexington.  Dickman is a candidate for the Eagle Scout honor through Lexington Boy Scouts Troop #88.

The “Blessing Box” is located at the west entrance of the church in northeast Lexington.  People in need can obtain nonperishable food items from the box anytime and people are welcome to donate to it too.

Dickman has been active in Boy Scouts since joining in 2016 when he was 10-years-old.  He says his favorite scouting activity is camping and his favorite merit badge was for shooting sports, a hobby he says he has enjoyed for years.
