LEXINGTON, NE – Lexington Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched shortly after 3pm Wednesday on a report of a food truck on fire at the Dawson County Fairgrounds.
Fire Chief Bo Berry says three fireman were on scene very early because of their close location to the fire.
There were no injuries. Berry says even though the fire was well contained, the food truck appears to be a total loss.
LVFD had two rigs show up with a total of eight firemen, plus the three that were on scene first. Lexington Police Department responded as well.
The food truck was at the fairgrounds surrounded by other food vendors for the Dawson County Fair.
