Nebraska Director of Agriculture Sherry Vinton highlighted youth and shared more about the state’s agriculture industry during a National Ag Week celebration.
“Last year we had over 250 young kids come here and learn about careers in agriculture,” Vinton said. “Not only farming and ranching, but every step along the way that it takes to produce.”
Her comments were made during a recent press conference where Gov. Jim Pillen proclaimed March 17-23, 2024 as Agriculture Week in Nebraska.
