WSC Volleyball Ranked #4 in Preseason AVCA Poll

Wayne, Neb. — The Wayne State College volleyball team is ranked fourth in the AVCA/TARAFLEX Preseason Division II Top 25 Coaches Poll. The Wildcats received two first-place votes and 1,003 points in voting conducted by 47 various coaches in NCAA Division II.

Wayne State was 31-3 last season and captured a second straight Northern Sun Conference regular season title with an unbeaten 18-0 league mark. The 2023 Wildcats won the NCAA Central Region title for a second time and advanced to the NCAA Elite 8 in Moon Township, Pa. Wayne State opens the 2024 season on Thursday, September 5th vs. Adelphi (NY) at the Eckerd College Tournament in Florida.
