Due to predicted rain in northeast Nebraska on Sunday, this weekend’s Wayne State NSIC home softball doubleheaders vs. MSU Moorhead and Northern State have been moved up one day.  The Wildcats now face MSU Moorhead Friday at 12 and 2 p.m. at the Pete Chapman Softball Complex and battle Northern State Saturday at 12 and 2 p.m.  WSC enters this weekend with records of 4-26 and 0-6 in the league.  MSU Moorhead is 18-14 and 5-5 in the NSIC while Northern State starts the weekend at 16-14 on the season and 2-8 in league games.  Last season, WSC split with MSU Moorhead, winning 6-1 while losing 14-4, while Northern State took a pair from the Wildcats in Wayne last season 6-3 and 5-4.
