West Point City Council approves budget, discusses Eagles Club Property

The West Point City Council approved the 2024-2025 Budget at Tuesday night’s meeting. City Administrator Tom Goulette.

Goulette says that decreases the tax rate by nearly five percent.

Additionally, a public hearing for the One and Six Year Street Improvement Program was set for the October 1st Council Meeting.

Discussion was held on the Eagles Club Property.

Also at Tuesday night’s meeting, Goulette’s contract was extended through January 2027 at which time he plans to retire.
