The West Point-Beemer School Board approved Clark & Enersen as the Architect for the addition to the Ag Facility at Monday night’s Meeting. Superintendent DJ Weddle discusses the plan going forward from a financial standpoint.
Weddle says the goal is to break ground on the facility this August with the project being finished in August 2025.
There will not be any Softball at West Point-Beemer this coming fall. Weddle says that’s due to lack of interest and numbers between both West Point-Beemer and Bancroft-Rosalie.
West Point-Beemer and Bancroft-Rosalie had Co-op’d in Softball prior to this coming fall, and were known as the Cuming County Cadets.
Weddle adds the school district is in the process of obtaining grant fund money from the Nielsen Foundation for a set of shot clocks.
