The West Point-Beemer School Board heard a Building Project Update at Monday night’s meeting. Superintendent DJ Weddle tells KTIC News where they’re at with that project.

Weddle says they’re still in the initial design phases, and want to go out for bids in June or July.

Summer Maintenance Projects were discussed at the meeting. Weddle says this involves work on the school’s track.

Weddle says total cost of the projects is expected to be anywhere from $62,000-$77,000.

The Board also discussed Weddle’s contract at the meeting. Weddle spoke with KTIC News about the extension he received.

Weddle says the last day of school for students is May 17th and staff May 24th.

Graduation is set for May 5th at 1:00 p.m. in the High School Gym.
