West Point-Beemer School Board approves retirement resignation of Superintendent McAllister, who gives COVID Update at Monday night’s meeting

The West Point-Beemer School Board met for their regular monthly meeting Monday night. Superintendent Bill McAllister gave a COVID Update.

McAllister also shared some overall figures for the year.

Also at Monday night’s meeting, the Board approved the adoption of the proposed budget of almost $19 million and the Total Tax Request for nearly $10 million.

The Board accepted McAllister’s resignation as he is retiring at the end of the School year. Mr. Mac had this message for the Board.

The Board approved Holly Hunke, Steve Blocher, and Eric Brockmann to serve as the committee responsible for selecting a Superintendent Search Firm, which is expected to be done at next month’s meeting.
