On Saturday at about 6:00 p.m. the Beemer Police Department and Beemer Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a UTV rollover incident with injuries on a city street in Beemer.
After further investigation the driver, 55-year old Michael Nuccio of Beemer was arrested for DUI 1st offense, and careless driving.
Nuccio’s blood alcohol content was almost one and a half times the legal limit.
Nuccio was transported to the Thurston County Jail by the Cuming County Sheriff’s Office where he was housed pending the posting of a bond.
A 54-year old female passenger was transported to the West Point hospital by Beemer Rescue for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
