The Omaha Mavericks wrapped up their series against St. Thomas with a 9-4 victory on Saturday afternoon. Omaha got the bulk of their runs with back-to-back four-run innings in the 5th and 6th innings. The Mavericks improve to 28-8 on the campaign and 5-1 in Summit League play.

How It Happened
- With two outs in the top of the 3rd, Sydney Thomason singled to left field scoring Marra Cramer
- The Mavericks started off another two out rally when Alex Olson ripped an opposite field triple to score Sydney Ross and Ava Rongisch
- The very next at bat, Jaelle Johnson blasted a two-run homerun to right field
- Once again with two outs, the Mavericks rattled four runs in the sixth inning. It started with a Rongisch double to left field to score Sammy Schmidt.
- The following at bat, Ross singled to bring home Rongisch and make it 7-0.
- Olson made it 8-0 the next at bat with a double to center field to score Ross.
- Johnson singled in the Mavericks final run with a hit to left field.
- In the bottom of the 6th inning, UST went on a small run to score their four runs.
Omaha remains on the road next week. They’ll head to Vermillion to take on South Dakota.
