The Platte County Emergency Manager reported a tornado touched down about 3 miles southwest of Platte Center at 11:39am today. The Emergency Manager also reported to the National Weather Service in Omaha that the tornado roped out and then touched back down again just a couple mintes later. Severe Thunderstorms were moving through northeast Nebraska late this morning.
There were no immediate reports on any damages.
