There was a large turn-out for Sunday nights’ “Partners in Progress” Banquet, hosted by the West Point Chamber of Commerce. The annual event honors volunteers in the community.
Tina Biteghe Bi Ndong, Executive Director of the West Point Chamber of Commerce , welcomed everyone to the Nielsen Community Center. She also honored Adminstrative Assistant Bonny Emanuel for 15 years of service to the Chamber.
After the meal, the program began and Peg Rood received the “President’s’ Shining Star Award.” The “Young Contributor Award” went to Kylie Kai. And the Community Service Award went to Mary Lauritzen.
