A possible threat to the Deerfield Elementary School in Blair Thursday morning prompted school officials and the Blair Police Department to place a secure hold at the school and extra police officers were sent to the area. After an investigation, it was determined that it was not a credible threat. Blair School Superintendent Randy Gilson, in a message to student’s families, says the building was placed in a secure lockdown in an abundance of caution until the threat could be investigated. He added that no Blair students were in danger.
