Several calls to the Washington County Sheriff’s office Monday regarding a phone scam in which they are told they have missed jury duty and must post a five thousand dollar bond. The Sheriff’s office will not call and ask for bond money if you miss jury duty. You’re urged to not respond to these calls and to spread the word about the scam to friends and family.
