SIOUX CITY, Iowa — The Morningside University football team on Monday earned the No. 10 spot in the 2024 NAIA Football GoRout Top 25 poll.
The Mustangs received 242 points based on a panel of coaches from NAIA conferences nationally. The points system is like this: Each first-place vote was worth 25 points, No. 2 for 24 points and so on.
Earlier this month, the Mustangs received the No. 2 ranking in the GPAC poll behind Northwestern.
The Mustangs will open on Aug. 31 with a 6 p.m. kickoff against No. 19 Benedictine.
