John C. Fremont Days Kicks off on Thursday with opening ceremonies and runs all weekend in Fremont. President Barry Reker says there will be everything from a movie night to an outer space exhibit.
Reker says there will be a photo contest as well as Remote Control Drag Races, barn quilt tours, open fishing at Izaak Walton, a beard and mullet growing contest, mechanical bull riding in the park, rodeos both Friday and Saturday nights, a beer garden downtown, and bands both nights plus a car show.
Reker says there will be more activities ranging from a parade to kids activities.
