The Guardian Angels Central Catholic Bluejays and NEN Vipers both qualified for a softbal District Final and a chance to make the State Turnament.
GACC hosted the C# Subdistrict on Monday, Oct. 7. The Bluejays defeated Wilber-Clatonia 12-0 and Malcolm 15-0. Both games went three innings.
NEN competed at the C9 Subdistrict hosted by Yutan/Mead. The Vipers downed Pierce 9-1 in the first game and upset #1 seeded Yutan/Mead 10-7 in the second game.
GACC will host Central City for the C3 District Championship this Friday starting at 11:00 am.
NEN will travel to Kearney to face Kearney Catholic for the C& District title starting at 10:00 am.
District Finals are a best of three series.
The GACC vs Central City games will be broadcast on 107.9 The Bull.
