KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Softball All-America teams as selected by the NAIA-Softball Coaches’ Association All-America Committee. Roni Foote and Aliyah Rincon of Midland University were both named Second Team All-Americans.

Foote, a senior from Omaha, Nebraska, was a standout for the Warriors in her final season. She led the team batting average (.434), doubles (13), triples (5), home runs (12), RBIs (60), total bases (128), walks (35), and slugging percentage (.805). For her career, Foote is the program leader in home runs (53), RBIs (232), slugging percentage (.736), walks (83), and total bases (482). She is also ranked in the top ten all-time in batting average (.388), at-bats (655), hits (254), doubles (41), triples (14), runs scored (177), stolen bases (34), and assists (313). She is a four-time All-GPAC First Team selection and was named to the 2023 NAIA All-America Second Team.

Rincon, a senior from Granada Hills, California, was the ace of the Warriors’ pitching staff this season once again. In her final season in the circle for Midland, she posted 28 wins with 30 complete games and a 1.23 earned run average. She pitched a pair of no-hitters with one being a perfect game this season. She finished the year with 251 strikeouts in 215.2 innings pitched. For her career, Rincon finishes as the program’s all-time leader in innings pitched (779.0), wins (96), and strikeouts (872) while ranking second in career ERA (1.75). This year, she set the season record for wins (28) and ERA (1.23).

This year, Foote and Rincon were named the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, respectively. The Warriors went 44-12 overall and finished as regular-season runners-up with an 18-4 mark. In the postseason, Midland was the GPAC tournament runners-up and made its way to the NAIA Opening Round where they went 2-2 in the Chickasha Bracket.
