What started as a hay bale fire grew into a structure fire -that matter is on the activity summaries for the Blair Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department for June 6th through the 10th. Other departments also responded to that fire – including Fort Calhoun, Kennard, Irvington and Ponca Hills. Also on those summaries, a vehicle fire, a response to a call regarding a person suffering burns, another person with sepsis, a personal injury accident, response to a ditch fire, three calls for injuries from falls, a diabetic emergency and other medical calls.
