Congressman Flood to Host First Flyover Fintech Conference in Lincoln

LINCOLN – U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced he will host his first Flyover Fintech conference in Lincoln, Nebraska on August 2, 2023, at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. 

“I am excited to welcome industry leaders and public officials from across the country to Lincoln to talk about the future of fintech, digital assets, and our global economy,” said Congressman Flood. “It’s a special honor to host this event featuring my colleagues, Congressman French Hill and Congressman Warren Davidson. All three Members of Congress sit on the House Financial Services Committee. Congressman French Hill is the Vice Chair of the Committee and the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Digital Assets, Financial Technology, and Inclusion. Congressman Warren Davidson is the Chairman of the Subcommittee on Housing and Insurance.

Flyover Fintech features a wide variety of speakers, ranging from members of the House Financial Services Committee to leading voices in the fintech industry. During the conference, a series of panels will examine the evolving regulatory environment for digital assets, the promise of blockchain, the relationship between next-generation internet and fintech, critical regulatory questions, and the future of digital assets in a global economy.
