At the C-3 Boys Golf District in Hartington on Tuesday, the Pender team of Layton Gralheer, Mithcell Kelly, Alex Anderson, Carter Hansen and Alex Hathaway placed third overall with a 345 and qualified for State as a team. Individually, Grahleer placed 9th overall with an 81.
Class C State Golf will be Tuesday and Wednesday, May 21-22 at the Elks Country Club in Columbus.
