Butler County Emergency Management and Butler County Communications advised at 5:57pm this evening(Thursday), a dangerous wildfire was located east of Garrison and south of David City, moving rapidly toward the north.
Highway 92 from Hwy 15 (CR O) to Hwy 81 is currently shut down with multi-agencies responding to the field fire.
They’re asking residents to quickly heed any evacuation orders and follow all safety instructions from local emergency management officials.
Do not drive into dense smoke.
