Bohn collects NSIC Offensive Player of the Week honors

Wayne State College quarterback Nick Bohn was named Northern Sun Conference Football Offensive Player of the Week Monday morning following his performance in Saturday’s 41-7 victory at Southwest Minnesota State.

A 6-1, 215-pound senior from Bennington, Bohn accounted for five total touchdowns and 263 yards of total offense Saturday evening against the Mustangs.  He completed 15 of 23 passes for 218 yards and four TD’s while also gaining another 45 yards on the ground on just seven carries and one more score. 

With his 263 yards of total offense, Bohn became just the third player in Wildcat history to record 9,000 yards of total offense (9,195).

Wayne State is 5-1 on the season and 4-1 in the NSIC heading into Saturday’s 2 p.m. road contest at the University of Mary.
