The B5 Senior Legion Area Baseball Tournament began on Friday, July 26 in West Point.
In the first round, Wayne Defeated O’Neill 9-0, Battle Creek beat Columbus Lakeview 5-4 and it was West Point over Twin River 8-0.
On Saturday, Twin RIver eliminated O’Neill 9-4. Columbus Lakeview came from behind to beat Wayne 4-3 and it as West Point over Battle Creek 2-0.
In Sunday’s elimination games, it was Wayne over Battle Creek 9-1 and Columbus Lakeview over Twin River 4-1.
West Point and Wayne we will meet in a semifinal game Monday night at 6:00. The game will be broadcast on 107.9 The Bull.
If West Point wins, they will advance to play Columbus Lakeview in the championship on Tuesday.
If Wayne wins, West Point and Columbus Lakeview would meet in a semifinal on Tuesday, with the winner meeting Wayne in the championship later that night.
