Area Athletes compete at Boys State Golf Wednesday

Class C Boys State Golf was held at Elks Country Club in Columbus on Wednesday. Logan View finished 11th as a team while Pender finished 14th. Individually, Tekamah-Herman’s Brody Rogers finished tied for 6th with four over par while Peyton Penrose of West Point-Beemer tied for 14th with seven over par. Logan View’s Drew Hagerbaumer tied for 29th with 11 over par while Pender’s Mitchell Kelly tied for 46th at 16 over par. Logan View’s Kolton Kriete finished tied for 57th at 18 over par while teammate Hutton Kotik as well as Pender’s Layton Gralheer tied for 62nd at 19 over par. Pender’s Alex Anderson tied for 67th at 20 over par while Josh Egbers and Dawson Klug both of Logan View tied for 78th at 22 over par. Pender’s Alex Hathaway finished tied for 95th at 29 over par while teammate Carter Hansen finished 98th at 42 over par.
