The beloved Antique Tractor display at the Nebraska State Fair seems to draw crowds from all generations each year.

Brothers Larry and Kevin Killinger have managed the display, featuring hit and miss engines, since the fair moved to Grand Island. Larry said the most exciting part is interacting with all of the students who come by the exhibit.

“We try to entertain a lot of the kids, selling corn and grinding corn, crushing rock, and pumping a lot of water around around,” he said. “And in certain days, we make some homemade ice cream out here.”

Now in its 14th year, the brothers said they’ve met a lot of people through their shared interest of antique equipment.

The display is located on the southern half of the fairgrounds.
