Pender High School has announced that Andy Welsh will be returning to the role of head boys basketball coach beginning this season.
Welsh previously served as the head boys basketball coach from 2009-2014.
Welsh takes over for Mitch Mailloux, who had been the head coach since 2019.
Welsh also served as head football coach at Pender from 2014-2019.
He inherits a boys basketball program that finished 5-18 last year.
