Susan “Sue” M. Ohde, 74, of Schuyler, died Thursday, July 11, 2024 at St. Josephs villa in David City,
Kracl Funeral Chapel of Schuyler is in charge of arrangements.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Susan Mae Ohde was born January 27, 1950 in Wayne, Nebraska to Walter and Sylvia (Willers) McAuliffe. She graduated from Laurel High School. Sue has lived in many places with her family and has been settled in Schuyler for about the last 40 years. She was married to Joe Wortman and together they had two sons, Joe and Jeff. The couple later divorced. On January 23, 1991 she married Don Ohde in Las Vegas, Nevada. Don died in February 2024. Sue was retired from Dale Electronics (Vishay) in Columbus.
She is survived by her mother Sylvia McAuliffe of Schuyler, sons Joe (Jennifer Shonka) Wortman of Pierce, Jeff (Meridith) Wortman of Omaha, Step sons Jason (Tonya) Ohde of Lake City, MN, Justin Ohde of Cottage Grove, MN. Brothers Mark (Rogjean) McAuliffe of Schuyler, Kelly McAuliffe of West Point, Neil (Traci) McAuliffe of Elkhorn, Sisters Sandra (Dan) O’Connor of Gretna, Loretta (Jerry) Wegener of Lindsay, Rita Wemhoff of Schuyler, Vicki (Paul) Mefford of Schuyler, Tracy (Ron) Palensky of David City, sister-in-law Margaret Osburn of Omaha. Preceded in death by her father Walter McAuliffe, brother Gary McAuliffe and sister-in-law Carol McAuliffe.
