Mary L. Graber, age 90, of Wisner, Nebraska passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at the Wisner Care Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE with Pastor Janelle Siffering officiating. Interment will be in the Wisner Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, December 17th from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in Wisner and will continue on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Mary L. Graber was born January 6, 1931 to Frank and Mathilde (Hespe) Westerhold in Pender, NE. She was baptized on February 22, 1931 and later confirmed on February 20, 1944 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church-Pender, NE. She attended rural school and helped on the family farm.
On April 28, 1957, she was united in marriage to Howard Graber at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church-Pender, NE. The couple lived at Wisner, NE. In 1973, the family moved to Emerson, NE, where Mary obtained her GED. In 1976, the family returned to Wisner, where Mary worked at the Wisner Bakery for many years along with helping with the bookkeeping at Wisner Implement.
Mary was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, it’s Ladies Aid Circle, and a card club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, she made her own clothing early in her life, and gardening.

Sister-in-law- Pauline Westerhold of Pender, NE
Mary was preceded in death by her parents-Frank and Mathilde Westerhold, husband-Howard Graber on November 4, 2016, and brother-Marvin Westerhold.
