Martha Beatriz Peña-Rodriguez, age 60, of West Point, Nebraska passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 as a result of an auto accident near Wisner, NE. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in West Point, NE with Fr. Matt Niggemeyer as Celebrant. Visitation will be on Monday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Minnick Funeral Home in West Point, with a Public Vigil Service and Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Minnick Funeral Home in West Point in charge of arrangements.
Martha Beatriz Peña-Rodriguez was born April 8, 1961 at Sinaloa, Mexico to Jose Peña and Manuela Rodriguez. She attended high school Rosendo G. Castro. She had worked at IBP, Cargill, and was currently employed at
Quality Pork in West Point.
Martha, or “Tichi”, was loving, caring, happy, and affectionate; and enjoyed spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. What she loved most was to spend time with her family, enjoying good food and dancing. She worked hard her whole life to provide for her daughters. She loved to travel with her partner, Mario. Her daughters loved her more than anything and will have her in their hearts forever. She will be missed by her family every minute of every day.
Martha had a great devotion for Our Lady of Guadalupe and encouraged her family to always pray for each other.
