Seed wheat cleaning for fall wheat planting is underway at Rushman Seeds near Gurley, Nebraska.
Owner Roland Rushman shared more about the wheat cleaning process. In addition, he said the drought took a toll on this year’s wheat crop.
“The dryland wheat was probably about one third of a normal crop in this area,” he said. “There’s not a lot of seed.”
