Lincoln, Neb. — The 2024 Unicameral Youth Legislature, June 10-14, is an opportunity for high school students to learn what it’s like to serve as a Nebraska state senator.
Student senators sponsor bills, conduct committee hearings, debate legislation and discover the unique process of the nation’s only unicameral by learning directly from current state senators and staff.
The program is conducted by the Clerk of the Nebraska Legislature, through the Unicameral Information Office, in coordination with the UNL Big Red Summer Camps.
