May 15, 2024 (McCook, Neb.) —Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin May 22 on N-23, from reference post 152.68 to reference post 159.64, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.
Paulsen Inc., of Cozad is the contractor for this project. Work will include extending culverts, asphalt milling, asphalt overlay and guardrail replacement. Traffic will be maintained with a pilot car and flaggers. Anticipated completion is Aug. 2024.
Motorists are reminded to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up, and to put phones down.
