One of the highlights of the series we do on KRVN is getting to meet some amazing women from our listening area. For me, Tina Henderson with the Nebraska Farm Bureau is someone I have looked up because of her passion, drive and the will to do good for agriculture.
The proud daughter of an Italian grocer from Omaha, Tina is a big city girl
providing a unique perspective to the farm organization where she serves as Vice President of Communication Strategy.
Tina graduated from Central High School in Omaha and has a Bachelor of Science
degree in broadcast communications from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Her professional experience includes: working at WOWT Channel 6 in Omaha; KHAS-
TV Channel 5 in Hastings; and also in Grand Island and Lincoln for KOLN/KGIN-TV.
She came to Farm Bureau in 1991 and left for a brief stint at the Nebraska Association of
Hospitals and Health Systems in June of 1994.
She rejoined Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation and is now the Vice President of Communication Strategy.
Her greatest achievement to date is being a mother to Michael and a wife to Bruce.
