A weekend traffic stop in York County resulted in the confiscation of drugs, guns and arrests. Shortly after 11:30pm Saturday night, a York County Sheriff’s Office K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop, near the Henderson exit on Interstate 80, for multiple traffic violations.
During the course of the stop, the sergeant developed probable cause to search the vehicle. A search of the vehicle uncovered two firearms, three ounces of methamphetamine, a small amount of fentanyl, and Adderall. Additionally, there were a number of items in the vehicle that appeared to have been stolen. Follow up investigation revealed that some of the items in the vehicle were shoplifted from a business in the West Des Moines, IA area.
Two men were arrested on numerous charges and lodged in the York County Corrections They have been identified as 42-year-old Tyler Dolph of State Road, North Carolina and 34-year-old Torrence Patton of Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The case remains under investigation.

· §28-416-Possession of a Controlled Substance
· §28-517-Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
· §28-1202.04-Carrying a Concealed Weapon-Disclosure Violation
· §60-6,211.08-Open Container
· §28-441-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Patton was arrested on the following charges:
· §28-416(10)(b)-Possession of Methamphetamine more than 28 grams
· §28-1205-Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Felony
· §77-4309-No Drug Tax Stamp
· §28-416-Possession of a Controlled Substance
· §28-517-Theft by Receiving Stolen Property
· §28-1202.04-Carrying a Concealed Weapon-Disclosure Violation
· §60-6,211.08-Open Container
· §28-441-Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
