The Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is now accepting scholarship applications for the 2025-2026 academic year. The program, part of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources, seeks students passionate about entrepreneurship and turning ideas into action.

The scholarships are open to both incoming and current students within the college who have prior experience in FFA or 4-H. Applications are due by midnight on January 15, 2025. Students can apply through the Engler program website at englerjourney.com.

Since 2012, the Engler Agribusiness Entrepreneurship Program has invested over $2 million to support future entrepreneurs and innovators. The program is designed to empower students who are interested in building enterprises, and participation is open to all students, not just scholarship recipients.

Founded in 2010 with a $20 million gift from the Paul F. and Virginia J. Engler Foundation, the program’s mission is to encourage individuals to boldly pursue their purpose through entrepreneurship. In addition to offering an academic minor, the Engler program brings together students from a variety of majors and business interests to collaborate and chase their entrepreneurial dreams.
