A three-part webinar series facilitated by University of Nebraska-Lincoln educators has been created to address the need for leadership resources in rural Nebraska.
Tyler Quick, one of the coordinators for the Lead and Succeed Lunchbox Series, shares how a brainstorm session the previous year turned into a program for “discussions [that] will aim to reshape community leadership development by focusing on innovative strategies and collaborative approaches.”
Quick is an extension educator with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and gives insight about the purpose of rural leadership and how the webinar series can connect resources for statewide community growth.
Sessions are held once a month virtually from June until August and focus on the topics of collective leadership, non-traditional leader outreach, and encouraging regional resource connections.
