Council Bluffs-UNK continued its spring football workouts with a scrimmage against Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday. While no score was kept during the event the Lopers did plenty to be excited about. The two teams worked out for about two hours, in front of several hundred Loper fans in attendance. Head coach Ryan Held talks about the day.

Some of the highlights included

Quarterback Abram Scholting hit Zorian Stanton on a touchdown pass. Stanton would also score on a td pass from Regan Jones later on in the scrimmage.  Isaiah Harris had a short td run. Kyle Failling hit a 32 yard field goal and cornerback Tyson Boganowski returned an interception for a score. Marty Mormino had a 75 yard punt for the Lopers. Trey Pritchard connected on a field goal and receiver Reggie Anderson also had a number of nice catches for the Lopers and the defense only allowed Concordia-St. Paul to score once. The Lopers will wrap up spring practice with a blue and white scrimmage on Friday night in Kearney that is open to the public.
