KEARNEY – Bill Albin has been selected as the 2024 UNK College of Business and Technology Distinguished Alumnus Award recipient.

He will be honored at the 44th Annual Distinguished Alumni Awards luncheon on Friday, Oct. 11 at 11:30 a.m. in the Gala Room in the Regional Engagement Center, 2204 University Drive, Kearney. Tickets are $25 per person ($30 starting Sept. 30), $15 for children ages 12 & under, and can be purchased until Oct. 2 at unkalumni.org/homecoming or by calling the UNK Alumni Association at 308-698-5271.

“In many ways, Bill Albin’s story is like that of so many humble kids that grew up in rural Nebraska, pursued a degree from UNK, and then went on to a successful business career,” said Tim Jares, dean of the UNK College of Business and Technology. “Bill is exceptional, however, in what he has accomplished in his 33-year career with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He has worked with some of the largest, most recognized companies in the world, yet he finds time to mentor our students each time he is back to campus for CBT Dean’s Leadership Council meetings.”
