Three people have been arraigned in Gosper County Court in connection with a burglary reported at a rural Gosper County residence in the overnight hours of March 31st. A purse had been taken from a residence. An air compressor and battery charger was also taken from a shed. During the investigation, it was discovered that a $536 power tool kit purchase was made online with a credit card from the purse. It led the Gosper County Sheriff’s Office to obtain a search warrant for a Minden residence where the tool kit was seized along with a cell phone.
Those arrested in the case include 39-year-old Erin Gehrig of Alma and 33-year-old Joshua Casiano of Alma. They face charges of Burglary, Theft by Unlawful Taking, First Degree Criminal Trespass and Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Device. Nineteen-year-old Yorick Wilson of Minden is charged with Burglary, First Degree Criminal Trespass and Criminal Possession of a Financial Transaction Device. All have bonds set at 10% of $10,000.
In a separate case Gehrig has been charged with Theft by Shoplifting in Dawson County Court for an incident that occurred in April 2021. She has a previous shoplifting conviction this past February in Buffalo County.
