LINCOLN – The TeamMates Mentoring Program received a $150,000 check from the Nebraska
Fraternal Order of Eagles (F.O.E.) at the TeamMates National Office in Lincoln on August 30th
.
The check was presented by Fraternal Order of Eagles Past Presidents Patrick O’Connor and
Francye Thorpe to TeamMates Co-Founder Dr. Tom Osborne and TeamMates Chief Executive
Officer DeMoine Adams.


“This is one of the most generous donations we have received, and we greatly appreciate the
fundraising efforts of the Eagles,” said Dr. Tom Osborne.


Charity Chairman Kelly Davis, his wife Sandie, and Membership Chairpersons Dale Storey and
Rhonda Schafer were also in attendance representing the Nebraska State Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Davis stated this he was thrilled when he learned that this year’s Nebraska Fraternal Order of Eagles
fundraising efforts were going to TeamMates Mentoring. This donation was one of the highest for the
Eagles and they were honored to gift it to TeamMates.

About the Fraternal Order of Eagles
The Fraternal Order of Eagles is an international non-profit organization that raises money for various
charities such as diabetes, heart, kidney, cancer, spinal cord injury, and children’s funds. The F.O.E.
was founded in 1898, and the women’s auxiliary was established in 1927. With nearly 800,000
members in 1,500 locations across the United States and Canada, the F.O.E. is credited with
founding “Mother’s Day,” being a driving force behind Social Security, and helping create the $25
million Fraternal Order of Eagles Diabetes Research Center at the University of Iowa. They are best
