Stamford-Southern Valley’s football season is over. Today high school Principal and Activities director Josh Lanik sent out a press release announcing the season is done for both the Eagles’ junior varsity and varsity squads due to a lack of available players. Lanik says the school did not come to this decision lightly, but could not in good conscience put the few players they had left in that position. The season had been a struggle for Southern Valley, they were 0-5 and had struggled to be competitive.
