A 66-year-old farmer from rural Plymouth died Thursday in a farming accident near Pickrell.
At 10:23 a.m., Gage County Deputies, along with Beatrice Fire and Rescue and Pickrell Fire, responded to a call.
Eugene Bock was found trapped under a large drill. The Gage County Sheriff’s Office said it appeared that Bock was attempting to work under a portion of the drill when it collapsed on him.
Bock was pronounced dead at the scene. The incident is under investigation.
