Sobczak continues to emerge for the Lopers

Kearney-UNK redshirt freshman post Bailee Sobczak continues to have a big second half of the year for the Lopers. On Saturday she scored a career high 23 points to help UNK to their 17th win of the season. KRVN’s Jayson Jorgensen spoke with her about how this year has developed for her.

Sobczak has played in 23 games this year with six starts. She is averaging nine points and six rebounds per game. Against Washburn she had 17 rebounds which is one of the biggest totals in school history. Sobczak has also scored in double figures three of the last four games and is averaging 20 ppg in the Lopers last two games. Bailee is from Rapid City, SD and is studying pre-nursing at UNK. The Lopers who are 17-7 on the year play at Central Missouri on Thursday and at Lincoln this week on Saturday. Those games can be heard on 93.1 the River, 106.9 in Kearney and on the River App.
